North Metro GNETS services aim to provide therapeutic support services to students with social, emotional, behavioral, and/or mental health challenges by trained, experienced, certified and licensed professional therapeutic staff. Examples of typical behaviors addressed may include but are not limited to, significant, aggressive, self-destructive, atypical, and withdrawal behaviors, and trauma. Students receiving GNETS services are taught coping skills, self-advocacy skills, behavior regulation, and adaptive behaviors, with a keen focus on developing positive interpersonal relationships with self and others.
